Mummy of 2 toy loving girls! –
8 year old had the older version and naturally the 2 year old wanted one.
Wears it daily, changes all the screens, takes photos, will sit and navigate herself around the watch for long periods taking it all in. She has no concept of actual time yet, but I know it’ll last a long time. 8 year old has had hers 5 years! So it’s most certainly worth the price.
I would say to actually get the full benefit of the watch it’s more aimed at 3~4 year olds, they will be able to play the games, aim better for the photos, and start to understand the time better, but I know it will still be working then when shes at that stage.

Bought as a bday present for my 7yr old. She loves it. Helps her to tell the time. She loves taking pictures and enjoys the games too.

Highly surprised at the quality of this device – as a whole – especially for its price point, it’s packed with features we wouldn’t have thought it would have. Touch screen works fine for the kids, lots of games, even the horrid VTech Windows software isn’t a necessity, but there’s a fair bit extra you can even download into it for free on this particular product. All in all, it’s a good little kids gizmo, worth the price point. Battery life is pretty good for its use, even when our daughter has been using it hard for the day it holds out well, only real con is the internal space – 5 meg – a few extra megabytes would definitely help, fills up quick when the kids are photo and video happy on it. Build quality is average as you’d expect, one good bash with it and that’ll be it, barely any durability – but as with all techy things, look after them and it’ll be fine.
Amazon Customer –
My daughter loves it! Menu is very clear and includes photos taking, library, recordings, got calendar, alarm clock and other features that replicate a real smart watch pretty well.
For the price of less than 40 pounds it is a really good buy.

Perfect item, exactly as described and cheaper than buying on the high street.
Our eldest daughter has the v1 so we bought this v2 for our youngest and it’s perfect. Different enough so that they know who’s is who’s but not too different that they argue about who has the best one!
Quality is great and my daughter loves it.

I saw these sold at tescos for £50! So I was extremely pleased to see them for £36! I bought them for my niece who is turning 6. It is such value for money! It really is a smartwatch for kids with games, ability to take pictures, record videos and sounds, play games. It also has the time, calender and alarm options so they wake up in time for school!
It has options to subscribe to additional “apps” for an additional charge but for us it was perfect as it comes.
It only takes 3 hours to fully charge however if your child likes to take a lot of pictures and videos, the memory is limited but we just delete and create new projects.

Got this for my daughter’s 4th birthday. She loved it but only lasted 2 days. It got splashed when she was washing her hands and the touch screen stopped working. Good job they’re cheap.

Considering the relatively low price, I was concerned that the touch screen might be laggy. Having tested the watch, I’m pleased to report that it’s certainly responsive enough. The Kidizoom Smart Watch is easy for young children to figure out and use: tapping the screen switches between digital and analog clock; swiping to the sides changes background (many options); home button brings up ‘apps’; and the camera button does what you’d expect.
The Smart Watch actually features 2 cameras (1 for selfies), and comes with a short USB charge cable, and an instruction booklet. Taking 3 hours to fully charge, battery life is good enough, but expect to charge every day with heavy usage. The included games and photo customisation options, make for an entertaining watch that is also durable and well presented.
Offering so much more fun than an ordinary watch, the Kidizoom Smart Watch makes a great gift for a 5-7 year old. 5 Stars.
Tip: Charge and set the time before wrapping it!
